He was instrumental in amending people’s Civil Rights around the world, and managed to carry his message of peace and equality via non-violent methods, such as peaceful protests, sit-ins and passionate speeches. Sadly, this incredible leader was lost to us on April 4, 1968 when he was assassinated, but his message lives on even still.
